Our Story

Who We Are

A Family Rooted in Christ — a Christ-centered church in Kayole, Nairobi, existing to worship God, make disciples and love our neighbour.

Our Foundation

A Family Rooted in Christ

Our congregation is multi-generational; everyone is welcome here. We exist to worship God in spirit and in truth, to make disciples who walk in the freedom Christ purchased, and to love our neighbours across Kayole and the city of Nairobi.

We believe the tabernacle of God's glory rests on a community that gathers in prayer, stands on the Word, and walks in love. You will find that spirit when you walk through our doors.

Our History

Where We've Come From

Our church was started in 2010 at Embakasi Secondary School. In less than a year, we relocated to the adjacent premises — the former Riverside Makuti Club, which had been the first makuti club in Eastlands, Nairobi, located on D.O. Nyando Lane, Kayole Estate. By the time we moved in, the premises had been vacated and left in a state of ruin, having become a den of thieves.

We remained at that location until 2019, when we moved to our current premises in Kivauñi, at Kyalavo Market, Machakos County.
